I made a setting for the TroikaFest! 2021 Game Jam.
Troika! has definitely gotten us used to a different genre of fantasy, but the beauty of spheres is that you can attempt different approaches to science fantasy.
It’s not a science fiction sphere, even if the general idea might seem so: six weird worlds orbiting around a black hole. But the suggestions come from Burroughs rather than scientific rigor (indeed scientifically this setting doesn’t really hold up): bizarre ecologies, absurd professions and strange temporal anomalies.
